Mr Jamie Bailey

Jamie Bailey is Head of Drama and Head of Year 8 at Stone Lodge School having previously taught Performing Arts (Dance, Drama and Music) across all key stages (KS3-KS5). As Head of Drama, Jamie has shaped the Drama curriculum with new and exciting schemes that allow students to explore the vast world of drama and theatre. To coincide with this, Jamie has organised and run a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities linking classroom learning with real-life active experiences. Regular trips to the Theatre and special in-school screenings and workshops galvanise students’ understanding and appreciation of the Performing Arts and the potential careers that the industry offers. Jamie is passionate about providing our students with a wide range of Learning Beyond the Classroom opportunities, ensuring that every student in his care have access to meaningful experiences that have a positive and lasting impact on their education, social and personal development, and career aspirations. As Head of Year 8, Jamie strives to improve the outcomes of every student, ensuring their physical and emotional welfare and to foster students’ personal development as much as their academic progress. Developing the whole child is at the heart of everything Jamie does to ensure students can live and lead successful lives, something that is integral to the pastoral work we do at Stone Lodge School.
