Ann Nuckley, Governor

Ann nuckley

Ann Nuckley led the HR function and Principal’s office in a non-selective, mixed secondary school for 20 years.  Ann was involved with the school from its inception and development from a brown site through to its successful opening as one of the first City Technology Colleges in the country and was part of the leadership team which shaped the school, improving outcomes for local children.  Prior to her career in education Ann worked for the BBC as a programme scheduler for Radio 1 and 2; a role that saw her working behind, and occasionally, in front of the microphone!  Ann brings a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience to her role as Governor at Stone Lodge School and will play a pivotal role in its future success.

Tom Oliver, Governor

Tom oliver

Tom Oliver is the newly elected Councillor for the Stone House Ward.  His ambition for the local area is to develop a new community hub in Stone, bringing together established business and the new Rugby Club and Stone Lodge School to provide a central resource and meeting point for the local community.  Tom currently works with The Bank of England in the Communications Division where he produces educational content to inform external audiences.  Tom has been living in Dartford for the past four years and brings a host of professional business expertise to his role as Governor of Stone Lodge School as well as local insight and a desire to cultivate and develop the Stone community.

Sue Hunt, Governor

Sue hunt 1

Mrs Sue Hunt worked at WGSG for just over 30 years and enjoyed every aspect of her time at the school.  She has worked across a number of departments and in the roles of Head of Maths, Exam Secretary, Head of Sixth Form, Deputy Head and Head Teacher.  Some of Mrs Hunt’s favourite memories have come from the annual school ski trips that she’s led.  For her, the joy of skiing down the slopes at La Polsa, with a line of excited students following behind, can never be fully explained in words.  Mrs Hunt feels a family ski trip will never be equal to skiing with a party of forty students!  Sue brings unparalleled experience to the role of Governor, having worked within education all her working life.  Her belief that every child should have the opportunity to access to the very best education, whatever their background, together with her track record as a skilled and caring teaching practitioner makes her an invaluable member of the team at Stone Lodge School.
