Sue Hunt, Governor

Sue hunt 1

Mrs Sue Hunt worked at WGSG for just over 30 years and enjoyed every aspect of her time at the school.  She has worked across a number of departments and in the roles of Head of Maths, Exam Secretary, Head of Sixth Form, Deputy Head and Head Teacher.  Some of Mrs Hunt’s favourite memories have come from the annual school ski trips that she’s led.  For her, the joy of skiing down the slopes at La Polsa, with a line of excited students following behind, can never be fully explained in words.  Mrs Hunt feels a family ski trip will never be equal to skiing with a party of forty students!  Sue brings unparalleled experience to the role of Governor, having worked within education all her working life.  Her belief that every child should have the opportunity to access to the very best education, whatever their background, together with her track record as a skilled and caring teaching practitioner makes her an invaluable member of the team at Stone Lodge School.
